A day in Gateway Transition.

Since our move at the start of this half term we have seen a number of changes to our school day and today we have been capturing some of these moments to share.

Every day starts with a SPaG task. We either work independently or collaboratively in small groups.

Here you can see one of our learning spaces. 

Guided maths allows a small group focus. This week we have been looking at developing our arithmetic skills and consolidating our multiplication facts. 

We use mathletics during guided maths to support learning. 

Our maths session follows. 

After break is literacy followed by guided reading. 

Tuesday afternoon is Topic time. This afternoon we enjoyed a creative poetry session. We look forward to sharing our final results at our exhibition if learning at the end of the term.
